Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas!
Posted over 2 years ago by Marie Mayfield
The holiday season is in full swing, and we hope you have an opportunity to experience the special joys this time of year brings. In the spirit of this year’s theme, STARTING NOW, we challenged you during Natl Gratitude month in November to ‘Start Now’ in being more intentional with showing gratitude in your workplace, to families, and to friends. We want to ask you again to share with us how you are doing this. We plan to share your comments at future meetings in hopes of inspiring other nurses to practice gratitude.
We want to continue this challenge to maintain this mindset throughout the New Year and in our lives. Expressing gratitude encourages others to show gratitude and helps us to be happier. So, if you haven't already, “Start Now” to cultivate a sense of gratitude, compassion, kindness, confidence, excel- lence, critical thinking, and knowledge.
I would like to share my gratitude by saying THANK YOU for your continuing support in this Chapter! THANK YOU for serving your patients! THANK YOU for your time! With this season and the challenges since the COVID pandemic, some of us may be feeling tired, discouraged, or alone. Please, reach out to a family member, friend, or continue to reach out to our critical-care group. Take some time for yourself, have fellowship with others, and practice your gratitude.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
